Saturday Morning Cartoons at Zelma George

HandsOn volunteers will join the kids who live at the Zelma George Family Emergency Shelter for a fun morning watching cartoons, eating donuts, and playing games! Volunteers can play board games, color, and do other activities with children of all ages! Modifications to the project may be made to accommodate volunteers with limited mobility.
The Zelma George Family Emergency Shelter provides housing for families affected by homelssness in Northeast Ohio. It is run by the Salvation Army as part of the Salvation Army Harbor Light Complex.

Age Limits: This project is for volunteers age 18 and up.
Things to remember: You'll be playing with kids, so wear comfy clothes and bring lots of energy!
Where to Meet your Leader: Enter the building through the main entrance on E. 18th. You will need to be buzzed in. Your leader will meet you at the front desk.
Special Driving Instructions: There is a gated parking lot next to the Zelma George facility. To enter, drive through the large parking lot on E 14th (enter near the electronic billboard), and enter through the open gate. You can also enter off of E 18th. If the gate is not open, please call or ask inside for them to open the gate.
