New Volunteer Orientation
This is a quick one-hour session for people who want be part of the HandsOn community. Come and learn about our history, our programs, and to get involved in our monthly volunteer projects. You will be able to sign up for a project immediately after the orientation. All volunteers must attend an orientation before volunteering for their first HandsOn Northeast Ohio project.
Orientations are held at the HandsOn office located at 3615 Superior Ave Suite 4203B (third floor), Cleveland, OH 44114. Please enter Building 42. Volunteering with HandsOn Northeast Ohio is free. You can access all of our projects listed on the calendar for free on this website.
Special Driving Instructions: Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the building. The parking lot is accessible from 36th st. by turning right at the security booth below the Tyler Village sign.
Finding the Office: Once you've parked, enter the building through the orange door with the numbers 15, 20, and 42. Follow the signs for the elevator and take it to the 3rd floor. Once you exit the elevator, turn right. Our office will be the first black door on your right.
Things to Remember: Please sign up in advance to reserve your seat at the training! In order to sign up for the orientation and projects, create a volunteer account by clicking here.
Age Limits: Volunteers over the age of 16 may volunteer on their own, and we do have family friendly projects for ages 4 and up! All volunteers under 18 must fill out and bring a youth waiver form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
