E Prep Mentoring Program

Agency: Entrepreneurship Preparatory School

Description: Support E Prep Students to high school by becoming a mentor…

E Prep has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland (BBBS-GC) to offer a one-to-one mentoring program for our graduating 8th graders next year. As a mentor, you will help guide your mentee through the often difficult transition to high school. You will work directly with BBBS-GS and the E Prep to College department to help make this transition as smooth as possible for our students. For their 8th grade year, you will meet with your mentee for approximately 4 hrs. each month, once at the school and once somewhere in the community. The program continues during the student’s 9th grade year with more activities and events around the city.

Please note that the application process does include an application, background check, a personal interview and 3 references. As you are making your decision please consider that we are asking all potential mentors for a 24 month commitment that would begin in September 2009.

Get involved…Make a difference…And transform the life of a young person!
